International Travel Quarantine - If your family will be traveling internationally, please call the main office to inform us. Upon return, the following protocol will be implemented:
- Students need to get Covid tested and provide the school with results within 3-5 days upon returning to the country.
- Students will have to stay home 7 days even with a negative Covid test result.
- If your child is not Covid tested, he/she will have to stay home 10 days after international travel.
- Students experiencing any symptoms will be required to stay home (call the office immediately).
In-Person Parent Survey - Parents of remote students will be receiving an email survey from the district today detailing the next opportunity to switch to in-person learning. This survey must be completed by Friday, January 29th in order for your child to return to in-person learning on Tuesday, March 2nd.
Dress For Recess Requirements - In order for our in-person students to play in the snow during lunch recess, they must wear boots, snow pants, hat/hood, and gloves. Students who are not wearing these items will be limited to the blacktop and cement areas so that they do not get wet. We strongly suggest sending in an additional set of clothing for your child just in case. As a reminder, students will go outside for recess if the wind chill is above 10 degrees, weather permitting.
Materials Pick-Up & Plan Day - Next Thursday, January 28th from 2:00-6:00 p.m. will be our next student Materials Pick-Up. This is also a Pandemic Teacher Plan day, so there will be no in-person or remote learning for students. The hours for future Materials Pick-Up will be 4:00-6:00 p.m. starting Thursday, February 11th.
PTO Meeting Time Change - PTO Meetings for the rest of this year will now begin at 6:30 p.m. We hope you can join us on Zoom for our next meeting on Monday, February 1st at 6:30 p.m. The Zoom link is always available on the Cumberland Parent Calendar.
