Staff Leaving - We would like to send a heartfelt goodbye to the following staff members who will be leaving Cumberland at the end of this year. All of these individuals have put their heart and soul into helping children succeed. We wish them all the best in their future endeavors; they will truly be missed!!!

Parents of 5th Graders - You are invited to attend the assembly on Wednesday, May 31 at 1:30 that the 5th graders will be performing. The theme will be "Cumberland Memories." Starting at 2:30, we will have our traditional "Clap Out Ceremony" where our entire school will say goodbye to the 5th graders with applause and well wishes through the halls.

Orders are due on Tuesday, May 30.
Online Registration Help Available - If you have not yet completed the online registration process, and require help doing so, call the Cumberland office (847-824-1451) to arrange a personal help session. We ask that you complete this process by May 31. You will be contacted over the summer for payment.

Moving ? - If you are moving out of the Cumberland attendance area, and have a current kindergarten - 4th grader, please contact the school office at 847-824-1451. This will ensure that your child's records get to the next school in a timely manner.
Boxtop Winner - Congratulations to Mrs. Andersen's 4th graders for winning the 3rd Trimester Boxtop Challenge. Those students collected over 400 Boxtops For Education and as a result will be enjoying a special activity with their teacher. Keep collecting those Boxtops over the summer!
Chippewa Cross Country - The cross country team is open to all 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Chippewa students and will start right away in the fall. There are no try-outs! The first practice will be on September 5th. All interested students must have a current physical on file in order to be a part of the team. Have a great Summer - Wishing all of our families a safe and fun summer! To our PTO and parent volunteers, thank you so much for supporting our students and staff throughout the year with amazing cultural arts assemblies, Paw Market and Super Raffle items, Scholastic magazines and birthday books, and food and treats for our staff. We appreciate all that you do!!!
