Halloween Celebrations - We know how much students love Halloween. This year, students will be able to wear costumes to school on Friday, October 30th (general ed. kindergarten on Thursday, October 29th since they are not in session on Friday). Students working remotely will join their Zoom sessions in costume on those days. Classroom teachers will plan safe activities for all of the students to enjoy. Children will not be allowed to bring items to distribute to their classmates. We will not have our traditional all school sing along or the parade this year.
Mask Wearing During Arrival/Dismissal - Please remember that if you are driving to drop-off or pick-up a student you will need to remain in your vehicle. If you are walking or parking your vehicle in a legal space and waiting for your child by the door, masks must be worn unless you are social distancing from those around you.
Birthday Treats - To keep all of our students safe, we are no longer allowing children to bring in birthday treat bags to give to their classmates. Teachers will continue to offer a menu of choices that children can pick from on their birthday, such as: pajama day, extra class recess, game time, etc.
Daily Self Certification QR Code - All in-person students have been given a tag for their backpack that contains a QR code for the Cumberland Daily Self Certification Checklist. This electronic form must be filled out for each child, every morning, by 8:00 a.m. If you do not receive the morning reminder email, or can't find the link, just scan the QR code using your smartphone camera. This will bring up a link to our Cumberland specific form.
Before/After School Child Care - The Right At School program is up and running at Cumberland. If you are interested in before or after school daycare click here for details and pricing.
