New Behavior Incentive - Our PBIS Team has created a new incentive for students who have not received any Minor/Major behavior referrals and who are meeting the behavior goal set by their classroom teacher. Students who meet both of these goals, will take part in a special activity at the end of each month with their grade level peers. These students will also receive a certificate for each qualifying month of following the Cougar Code. This program will start in October and will replace the certificate and trinket in report cards for students with no behavior referrals for the trimester.
New Attendance Incentive - Our PBIS Team created a new incentive for students who have good attendance. At the end of each trimester, students who meet the goal of not having more than 3 absences and no more than 2 late arrivals/early departures will receive a special activity with their peers as well as a certificate. Attending school on a regular basis and coming on time has a huge impact on academic performance. We realize that some absences are unavoidable, but we appreciate your efforts of making school attendance a priority. This program will replace the attendance certificate and trinket that was going home for qualifying students in report cards.

Walkathon Status - We are pleased to announce that the Walkathon has surpassed its fundraising goal of $9000! This is the most the PTO has raised in the history of Cumberland Walkathons. This money is used to fund events like the Paw Market, PBIS Celebrations, water filling stations, WeVideo for morning announcements, STEAM Night materials, classroom field trips, and much more! Donations are still being accepted and prizes (emojis, water bottles) will still be distributed through October 11th. Click here to donate online. The PTO added an additional raffle winner and since we had a 3-way tie for top earner, we added additional prizes. Click here to view the list of winners and prizes. Thanks so much to everyone for generously supporting our school!!!
