2018-2019 Handbook Changes - Click here to view the district handbook changes for the 2018-2019 school year. These new procedures will be in effect as of the start of school in August.
Parking Lot Caution - Due to the backups created by the construction in the circle, many cars are cutting through the Cumberland/Chippewa parking lots to avoid the delays. This is especially bad during the morning and evening rush hour. Many of these cars are going very fast and we have created several unsafe situations with students and their parents dropping off and picking up from SPARK and after school activities. The Des Plaines Police Department has been made aware of the situation and will try to have an increased presence during those times. Our maintenance department is placing speed bumps in the lots from 5th Ave. to 8th Ave. to slow down the cars coming through. These speed bumps will be installed very soon so go through the lot with caution. Please be careful when dropping off and picking up your children and do not to let children wander in front of you through the parking lot.
